Version 1.5.3#

  • Fixed the wp-admin form preview so selected payment methods render even when the current gateway mode is not connected.
  • Fixed template import so the imported template keeps its exact payment-method choices instead of inheriting every enabled gateway method.
  • Prevented admin previews from initializing payment-provider SDKs or synchronizing payment data.
  • Made the form editor fail closed instead of leaving a loader visible when no eligible gateway exists or optional marketing content is unavailable.
  • Improved smaller-screen behavior in the form editor settings and preview.
  • Replaced legacy Plaid branding and an unverified cutoff date with a neutral bank icon and evergreen Stripe Financial Connections migration guidance.
  • Removed Microsoft Pay from selection and rendering while keeping legacy stored values inert and preserving the other saved methods.

Version 1.5.2#

  • Fixed cached checkout failures that surfaced as “Cookie check failed.”
  • Fixed Payment Form admin-screen errors on older supported WordPress versions.
  • Set the minimum requirements to WordPress 6.4 and PHP 7.4.

Version 1.5.1 - May 31, 2026#

Critical Stripe Connect hotfix — three 1.5.0 regressions combined to break a fresh Stripe connection end-to-end. All fixed and verified against a live Stripe test connect. If you connected Stripe on 1.5.0, re-run Payment Gateways → Connect with Stripe once.

  • Fresh Stripe Connect no longer fails with a 403 after completing OAuth.
  • Fixed a fatal error in the Stripe connect callback on some setups.
  • Webhooks are now registered automatically during connect, so payment events are delivered.

Version 1.5.0 - May 28, 2026#

  • ACH Direct Debit migrated to Stripe Financial Connections — no Plaid setup required.
  • Stripe PHP SDK updated to 20.1.0.
  • 10 new bundled, fully-styled form templates.
  • Reliability: idempotent webhooks (no duplicate charges or emails), plus money-math and failed-payment hardening.
  • Security: hardened Stripe Connect callback, safer template import, and endpoint rate-limiting.
  • Performance: plugin assets now load only on pages that contain a payment form.

Version 1.4.10 - May 16, 2026#

  • Confirmation email builder (GA): optional per-form Body Admin / Body Payer plain textareas with a fixed eleven-merge-tag set; HTML messages include a plaintext AltBody; Send test emails on the form editor; silent migration for the legacy mis-keyed From-email field. Shortcut #6932.
  • Stripe Connect webhooks: after OAuth completes, the plugin attempts to create or reuse the webhook endpoint on the connected account and persist the signing secret. Manual Dashboard configuration remains supported. Shortcut #5904.
